Appliance removal

Appliances are heavy, they're awkward on stairs, and half of them are in a basement. They also can't just go in a dumpster: anything with a sealed refrigeration system has to have the refrigerant recovered by someone certified to do it before it gets scrapped.

What we handle

  • Fridges, freezers, washers, dryers, dishwashers
  • Stoves, ovens, microwaves, water heaters
  • Basement and second-floor removals, stairs included
  • Freon units handled properly, for a small extra fee

What it costs

  • One item at the curb, $85
  • One item from inside, $125
  • Two or three items, $145
  • Full truck bed, $225 to $285

1

Send us a photo

Snap a picture of the pile on your phone and send it over. That's usually all we need to give you a firm price.

2

We give you the price

A real number, before we show up. If there's more than the photo showed, we tell you first and you decide.

3

We haul it off

We load everything, sweep the spot clean, and donate or recycle whatever still has life left in it.

Questions

Do you charge extra for a fridge or freezer?

A small fee on top of the normal price, yes. Anything with refrigerant has to go to a facility that recovers it legally before the metal is scrapped, and that facility charges us.

Can you disconnect it?

We'll unplug an appliance and pull a dryer vent. We don't disconnect gas lines or hard-plumbed water lines, because that's a licensed trade and getting it wrong is dangerous.

How fast can you get here?

Often the same day. Call before noon and there's a good chance we can fit you in, and if we can't we'll tell you straight away rather than leave you waiting.

Do you charge extra for stairs?

No. Inside pickup costs more than curbside and that difference already covers stairs, tight corners and long carries. Stairs are never a surprise charge at the end.
