Terms of service

These terms cover junk removal work done by Haul Heroes Ohio LLC ("Haul Heroes", "we") in Ohio. Booking a job means agreeing to them.

Quotes

Prices given from a photo or a description are estimates based on what we were shown. The final price is confirmed on site before we load anything. If the job is bigger than what we were told about, we tell you the new price first and you decide whether to go ahead. We don't load first and bill higher afterwards.

Published prices apply to standard household items within our service area and can differ for heavy material, items needing special handling, or locations outside Summit and Medina County.

What we won't take

We cannot accept hazardous waste, including paint, solvents, motor oil, gasoline, antifreeze, propane tanks, asbestos, medical or biohazard waste, car batteries, ammunition or explosives. If these turn up on site we'll leave them and tell you who can take them.

Your property

You confirm that the items are yours to dispose of, or that you have permission from whoever owns them, and that you have the right to let us onto the property.

Check what you're giving us. Once an item leaves in our truck it goes to a transfer station, a recycler or a donation centre, usually the same day, and we cannot get it back afterwards.

Damage

We're careful, and we use door protection and floor runners on inside jobs. If we damage something, tell us before we leave the property so we can look at it there and then. We're not responsible for damage caused by pre-existing conditions such as loose railings, rotted decking, worn carpet or doorframes already failing, or for wear that comes from an item being removed along the only route available.

Access and safety

We need a safe route in and a legal place to park the truck. We may decline or stop a job if the structure looks unsafe, if there's a pest or biohazard situation we weren't told about, or if anyone on site is behaving in a way that makes the work unsafe. If we've already started, you're charged for the portion completed.

Scheduling

Same-day service is offered where our schedule allows and is never guaranteed. Weather, traffic, dump hours and the job before yours all move timings. We'll keep you posted if we're running behind.

Cancel any time before we arrive at no charge. If we've arrived and you cancel, there may be a trip charge covering the drive.

Payment

Due when the job is finished, by card, cash or a payment link we send you. We don't take payment before the work is done.

Liability

To the extent Ohio law allows, our total liability for any job is limited to the amount you paid for that job. We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

Governing law

Ohio law governs these terms, and any dispute belongs in the courts of Summit County, Ohio.
