Exercise equipment removal

Treadmills and ellipticals come into a basement in pieces and in boxes, and years later they have to come out assembled and up a staircase. Most weigh between 200 and 300 pounds. We take them apart first, which is why this goes smoothly for us and badly for two people and a friend with a pickup.

What we handle

  • Treadmills, ellipticals, stationary bikes, rowers
  • Weight benches, racks, dumbbells, plate sets
  • Home gym systems, taken apart as needed
  • Basement and upstairs removals are our normal

What it costs

  • One item at the curb, $85
  • One item from inside, $125
  • Two or three items, $145
  • Full truck bed, $225 to $285

1

Send us a photo

Snap a picture of the pile on your phone and send it over. That's usually all we need to give you a firm price.

2

We give you the price

A real number, before we show up. If there's more than the photo showed, we tell you first and you decide.

3

We haul it off

We load everything, sweep the spot clean, and donate or recycle whatever still has life left in it.

Questions

Do you take it apart?

Yes, and it's included. Most treadmills won't make a basement staircase turn assembled, so taking them down is simply part of the job.

I have a whole set of weight plates. Is that a weight problem?

It can be. Cast iron adds up fast, so if you've got several hundred pounds of plates tell us upfront and we'll quote it properly instead of guessing.

How fast can you get here?

Often the same day. Call before noon and there's a good chance we can fit you in, and if we can't we'll tell you straight away rather than leave you waiting.

Do you charge extra for stairs?

No. Inside pickup costs more than curbside and that difference already covers stairs, tight corners and long carries. Stairs are never a surprise charge at the end.
